The weather meant that there were no photographers or spectators at the site this morning.  But.... I was not alone!

As I threw out the chicken at 8:30 I was given a flyby from a large mature eagle who came within 20 feet of me.  Later, when my back was turned, he/she took a chicken and and sat eating it about 20 yards from me.  This led to more birds flying in my orbit which was a thrilling experience.  I left the field and as i did so the remaining eagles came down.

We have been pretty steady at 40 - 50 birds of late and that was also true of both feedings today.  Sadly, there was no close encounter on the second feeding.

Feeding times tomorrow 8:30 and 10:30.

Hi, I know Eagle watch is over, but will you be doing a feeding on Sunday?
